about three quarters of the homeless people in my city are vets.  this upsets me beyond all measure.  anyone willing to go to another country and take a life and/or a bullet for some bullshit politician should be able to depend on that politician taking care of them in return.  no vet should ever be homeless.  they should come back to the best medical care there is to be had (and that includes mental health care).  they should never have to worry about food, housing or employment ever again.  after what is asked of them, and what they give in return, they should be set for life.
